DESCRIPTION Blackleg vaccine for sheep and cattle.
STORAGE 2°C - 8°C. Protect from light. Do not freeze. Keep out of reach of children.
APPLICATION RATE & TIMING Inject 2ml subcutaneously into the lateral side of the upper neck. Shake well before use. CATTLE Primary course: Two injections of 2ml separated by an interval of 3-4 weeks to animals from 3 months of age onwards. Booster Annually: 2-3 weeks before risk period. SHEEP. Primary course: Two 1ml injections separated by an interval of 6 weeks. With the second vaccination 3-4 weeks pre-lambing. Lambs can be vaccinated from 3 weeks of age (2 injections with an interval of 3-4 weeks to be completed 2-3 weeks prior to risk period)
WITHHOLDING PERIOD Zero days. No other vaccine should be administered within 14 days before or after vaccination.
TARGET PESTS Blackleg vaccine.
GENERAL NOTES The duration of passive immunity is at least 4 to 6 weeks in lambs, provided the lamb receives adequate quantities of colostrum in the first 12 hours of birth. Avoid stress in the latter stages of pregnancy to avoid risk of abortions and metabolic disorders.
